Black History Month is a time of celebration and remembrance of all of the contributions and struggles that black people have endured not only in America but throughout the world.
The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture located in Harlem New York preserves and educates visitor’s on worldwide African history. Having lived in Harlem for many years, I haven’t had the opportunity to visit the center until now.
Black Power! is the current exhibition at The Schomburg Center focusing on the Black Panther Party movement and the reach it had not only in the Black American community but worldwide.
The layouts for this exhibition cover the history of Black Panthers, their fashion influence, their goals, and how influential they were.
