A city with plenty to do, it's easy to get lost in the beauty of the surrounding bakeries and cafes. Paris is a place many dream of, for it's romantic language and beautiful architecture, many escape here during the cold months for a winter getaway. The French culture is hard to resist, especially when it comes to fashion, food and art.
If one is looking for art that goes beyond the Musee du Louvre, Black Supermarket is a contemporary art space that offers social events, shopping-cart style seating, coffee and cocktails, what more could one want? Having previously been an actual supermarket, Black Supermarket is a now converted art space. It doesn't contain traditional art in the painting/drawing style but transcends art through it's interior design and hand-printed T-shirts and tote bags.
For those looking for the high-fashion-esque clothing Paris is known for, Colette is a perfect store to go to if one has limited time. With three distinct floors, it has something for everyone, from Yves Saint Laurent to Vetements, guaranteed you wont leave the store without purchasing something.
Last but not least, food. For those wanting a taste of french cuisine, O Comptoir du Sud-Ouest is the perfect casual restaurant. A popular with locals, it is located in the 8th arrondissement in a quiet area. Upholding traditional French themes, duck is the main meat, and a wide selection of wine is available to accompany the food.
